Board of Directors

We are looking for dynamic individuals to join our Board of Directors who are passionate about leadership and governance and want to contribute to building better futures for individuals with learning disabilities in Windsor-Essex.

We invite all qualified applicants to apply including individuals with disabilities, those who identify as Black, Indigenous or Persons of Colour, members of the LGBTQ2S+ community, and those with lived experience.

If you are an individual who is passionate about empowering individuals with a learning disability and have the skills and time to dedicate to helping a charity achieve its mission please apply.

Skills and Qualifications:

Community-minded individuals from across Windsor-Essex County. All knowledge, skill and experience levels are welcomed, respected and valued.

Requirements:

• 3-year term of office;
• Participation in one of three committees (Finance & Audit, Governance,  Development, and Education);
• Share your leadership, expertise and governance experience at the board level;
• Participation in board meetings (2nd Wednesday of the month every 2nd month via Zoom).
