LDAWE does not receive any ongoing core funding. LDAWE will use donations to maintain LDAWE’s resource and support centre, ongoing programs, and public education.

Monetary Donations

All donations of $10 or more will receive an Official Charitable Donation Receipt.

Are you donating in honour of someone’s memory or special event (i.e. birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc.? LDAWE will issue an Official Charitable Donation Receipt to you for the value of the donation. We will send a letter to the person(s) being honoured to let them know of your gift.

LDAWE is committed to fundraising practices that respect donors’ rights to truthful information and privacy. LDAWE further commits to responsibly managing the funds that donors entrust to our organization and reporting financial affairs accurately and completely.

Donate Your Car

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for the Learning Disabilities Association of Windsor Essex County. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to the Learning Disabilities Association of Windsor Essex County through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for the Learning Disabilities Association of Windsor Essex County to benefit.
