Working at LDAWE means helping children, youth, and adults with learning disabilities and ADHD build skills, confidence, and independence at school, work, and in daily life. Our team includes teachers, coaches, trainers, and social workers who provide practical support, skill-building, and guidance. Every day, we work together to remove barriers, support success, and make a real impact in our community.
LDAWE contracts qualified individuals on a part-time basis in a wide variety of roles throughout the organization. Typical positions include:

Current Job Opportunities Available
Barton Reading & Writing Tutor
The Barton reading program is an internationally recognized reading and writing system based on the Orton-Gillingham approach. It teaches Phonemic structure with a multi-sensory approach. This is a one-to-one tutoring program. Tutors will receive comprehensive paid, mandatory program training. Tutors will need to complete an assessment to demonstrate their proficiency in delivering the program.
Tutoring sessions are available Monday through Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tutors may select their preferred time slots. Minimum 6 consistent hours per week needed.
