DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars\, as the conference will take place on the 
 evening of May 28\, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm\, virtually through an online pla
 tform.\n\nThis event will offer practical tools and strategies to support 
 parents of children with learning disabilities\, focusing on their educati
 on and well-being across a range of relevant topics.\n\nThe conference beg
 ins with an inspiring keynote session\, followed by the chance to choose f
 rom a variety of 1-hour presentations on relevant topics\, each concluding
  with a Q&amp\;A session.\n \nEffective Use of Assistive Technology\nPres
 ented by: Erin Plumb is a recognized leader in assistive technology\, brin
 ging more than 20 years of expertise in accessibility\, accommodations\, a
 nd inclusion. With 15 years at LDAWE and a career spanning public\, privat
 e\, and nonprofit sectors\, Erin has been instrumental in shaping policies
  and technologies that remove barriers for students of all abilities.\n \
 nEmpowering Parents to Support Children with Learning Disabilities: A Fram
 ework for Social Anxiety\, Stigma\, and Emotional Well-being\nPresented by
 : Janet Arnold is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)\, Triple P Pr
 actitioner\, and consultant specializing in psychotherapy and applied beha
 viour analysis. Since 1996\, she has worked with children\, families\, and
  individuals across clinical and educational settings in Canada. AND Eve
 lina Hovich is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and holistic well
 ness practitioner with extensive experience in clinical nutrition\, breath
 work\, coaching and holistic health practices.\n \nADHD and alternatives 
 to medication\n\nPresented by: Malani Ondrovcik  Registered Psychotherap
 ist providing services in consultation with OSR Clinics’ rehabilitation 
 team. Specializing in the provision of culturally competent treatment in a
 reas of\ntrauma\, depression\, anxiety\, chronic pain\, ADHD\, as well as 
 other mental health and educational\nissues.\n
